Got this from my friend Rose. Yes, in fact I am a Minnesotan. And yes, I do think people who consider “pin” and “pen” or “feel” and “fill” to be homophones need diction lessons. Please. Quickly.

    “You have a Midland accent” is just another way of saying “you don’t have an accent.
